They almost got to the finals last year, so they decided to bring in Grant Hill and say goodbye to Kurt Thomas and they believe they can win it all now. I think the loss of Thomas will hurt more than they think when it comes playoff time, but that’s just me. This team will largely remain the same as far as fantasy goes. Grant Hill’s production will increase as he is in this system playing along side Nash.
Projected starting lineup with last year’s stats:
Stats follow this format – Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, FG percentage & Minutes
PG – Steve Nash
18.6 – 3.5 – 11.6 – 0.75 – 0.08 – 53% - 35 min
SG – Raja Bell
14.7 – 3.2 – 2.5 – 0.64 – 0.28 – 43% - 37 min
SF – Grant Hill
14.4 – 3.6 – 2.1 – 0.94 – 0.38 – 52% - 31 min
PF – Shawn Marion
17.5 – 9.8 – 1.7 – 1.95 – 1.53 – 52% - 38 min
C – Amare Stoudemire
20.4 – 9.6 – 1 – 0.95 – 1.34 – 58% - 33 min
Key Bench Players
Leandro Barbosa
Boris Diaw
Alando Tucker
Sean Marks
This team is a fantasy gold mine with three players who will go in the first round of almost every draft. Raja Bell is overrated and honestly should not be drafted unless you are in desperate need to three pointers, and I see his value decreasing even more with Grant Hill on the team.
